IF THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN GOT MARRIED | MINNEAPOLIS WEDDING PLANNER | MAVEN

Halloween is right around the corner, so we thought we'd get in the spooky spirit by introducing a new column on the blog, where we pick a fictional character and plan their wedding. This time around, we're going with the theme of the season, and planning a wedding for the Bride of Frankenstein. We have teamed up with some other local vendors and have compiled what it would look like if Frankenstein and his bride were to get married. This is their day, planned by the MAVENS.

THE VENUE // Mansion at Uptown is a brand spankin' new venue in MPLS and is bone-chillingly perfect for this bride who is up on all of the happening new wedding venues. The Mansion at Uptown has a rich victorian-gothic vibe on the inside, which fits in with this bride's mysterious lifestyle.

RENTALS // What wedding would be complete without a few furniture rentals to help tie everything together? Lady Frankenstein chose to go with On Solid Ground's Vivian collection. The chair (shown below) and sofa will create the ideal seating vignette for guests to enjoy a spooky cocktail or two.

THE DRESS // Lady Frankenstein is a confident and stylish chick, so this Galia Lahav "Samantha" dress paired with the "Jane Cape" is a fabulous choice for her. It brings out a feminine side to her edgy personality that everyone knows so well. We know Frankenstein is going to be all googly-eyed when he sees his bride in this stunning gown.

LIGHTING INSTALLATION // Frankenstein's sense of style could not be any more opposite from Lady Frankenstein. Frank has a very modern take on the world, after being a monster his whole life, he has really lightened up and has become quite the fan of Hennepin Made's work. So, he chose to set the mood with an epic lighting install above their head table. We really like that this lighting feature will "tie the knot" between Frank + his bride's differing styles.
