FULL MOON. FULLER HEARTS.

CLUB DATE NIGHT | WEEK SEVEN

With tomorrow's Full Flower Moon upon us, tonight we thought we'd take some time for a little introspection, manifestation, and of course, star gazing! Amidst all of the current unknown swirling around us, pausing to reflect and taking a moment to release has never been more important. This week's activity is a simple practice to do just that. We hope you'll join us!

YOU WILL NEED:

- Pen and paper

- Bowl of water

- Matches

- Candles/incense/sage

Optional:

- Tarot cards

- Altar offerings (crystals, fruits, herbs)

- Printed intention-setting worksheet *found below

Environment:

- Outdoors in a quiet, safe place

- Inside away from distractions

This full moon ritual is as straightforward as they come. You certainly don't need the moon to practice self-care and introspection. However, many believe that the full moon increases psychic and emotional sensitivity, and when harnessed during this special time, this energy can help us better manage the stressors in our lives, and create powerful shifts in our psyches. Whatever you believe, pausing to reflect, release, and set intentions from time to time is always a positive practice.

STEP ONE

Begin by setting up a sacred space for yourself and your partner. This can simply mean lighting a candle. Or, you can add some incense, sage, crystals, and other altar offerings to your space. Do whatever feels right. What's most important is that the space is away from distractions, and is safe and comfortable for you both.

STEP TWO

In a comfortable position, take 5 or so minutes to meditate in silence together. Clear your mind. Focus your attention on the light of the moon and nothing else. If you are indoors, consider focusing on a candle's flame. Release all of the anxiety, tension, and stress that you are holding and allow your mind to empty completely. Remember not to become frustrated if stray thoughts creep in. Simply release them as they occur and return to your meditative state.

STEP THREE

Using a pen and paper (or the worksheet below) consider the following prompts to help guide you to your own manifestations, intentions, and release of what no longer serves you. Once you've clarified what's come to fruition and what hasn't, it's time to write down and release whatever is getting in the way of the experiences that haven't arrived for you yet.

STEP FOUR

Once written down, set fire to the piece of paper (safely) and drop it into a bowl of water. If you prefer, you may tear your paper instead. You can even flush the torn up paper down the toilet! This step is ceremonial on purpose as a way to affirm what has been manifested, and to clear the way for what's to come.

STEP FIVE

OPTION 1

If you are able, grab a blanket, a beverage, some soothing music, or anything else that speaks to your souls and find a cozy place outdoors to sit and stargaze in the moonlight together. Perhaps you'll want to share your intentions with each other at this time, perhaps not. You might want to talk. You might not. Do whatever feels right. There is no wrong practice. Simply be with the one you love for a few moments, and let whatever lightness you feel be what grounds you in this moment together.

OPTION 2

Not feeling more quiet time? Then DANCE IT OUT! Turn up the playlist and shake any stagnant energy out of your body! Let the light and joy fill your insides and vibe with your life's rhythm together!

OR DO BOTH!
