How did you get started in the wedding industry?

Most of us were doing work with weddings independently, both in photo and video. As time progressed, we realized the benefits of working together and bringing a fresh perspective for our wedding clients. Plus, weddings are a blast! Who wouldn’t want to work with clients on the best day of their lives?

What do you enjoy most about working with your clients?

As we get to know couples, we get to hear their stories, and that’s definitely our favorite part. Every couple is so unique, and it’s an honor to partner with them to capture their story and creatively deliver something that resonates with their own unique journey. That moment — when clients view their film or photos for the first time and it transports them back to that day — it’s so rewarding.

Where do you find your inspiration?

Everywhere! We’re inspired by all kinds of visual storytelling. Our team is really connected to the creative industry in Minneapolis and beyond, and when we all bring some of that inspiration back to the team, it’s amazing what we’re able to create. That’s the best part of working with other people you really respect — it means you’re constantly pushing each other to think differently and create something amazing.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received, and who was it from?

This quote is on the whiteboard in our office — “Be so good they can’t ignore you.” We’ve totally made that our mantra; we want to constantly be creating really incredible work that we’re proud of. I think that quote is from Steve Martin? He didn’t give it to us directly. :)

What’s the most memorable moment from your career in the wedding industry?

So many memorable moments, but if we had to choose, all of our destination weddings stand out. You really get to the know the couple on a different level, since you spend more time together. Some of our favorites: Columbia, Hawaii, Mexico. We love to travel.

Just for fun, what are the three most important things on your desk right now?

In order of importance: my kitty cat mug, my Parker Jotter pen, my laptop
